Baby Mama Goddess

I know I should be a good mama and post pictures of my cute kids in their thrown-together, they-don't-really-care-because-they're-so-little Halloween costumes, but I'm not feeling like that kind of mama. Besides I have much more exciting, thrilled scream-worthy news to share.

You know my sister, the goddess? The cute, funny, lovely one?

Well, maybe you already know this, but she has a baby in her tummy.

This is her baby mama tummy:

She claims this picture just makes her look fat, and she will probably want to kill me for putting it on the interwebs, but I'm just so doggoned excited to be an aunt that I will happily ignore her and do whatever the heck I want. You should know that she is anything but fat. The happy visitor that is The Morning Sickness left her thin and tired and a little pale for some weeks, and she's just now sporting a slight bump that Baylor and I both have to keep ourselves from caressing and crooning at all the time.

Baylor loves the concept of a baby in Cici's (his name for his dear aunt) tummy. Baylor loves the concept of a baby in anyone's tummy. Baylor loves the concept of a baby in his tummy. This is a hard thing to explain to a 2 1/2-year old.

Anyway, there is a sweet, sweet little baby girl (yes, a girl!!) in there, growing big and strong, and I will finally be an aunt. I. Cannot. Wait.

Incidentally, if you can, please keep Candice in your prayers. She is only at 17 (?? I think?) weeks, and she has been on bedrest for about the last 3 weeks. I won't go into detail, but while the baby and the baby's environment are healthy and happy and growing, some physical things on Candice's end are a little scary. Meanwhile, Candice is stuck in bed, away from work, which understandably makes her a little nervous and restless and itchy. If you will, lift up my sister, her hard-working husband, and their sweet baby girl in your prayers. Thank you, dear readers.

I'm off to find as much pink as I possibly can. I feel like whooping with delight.

Wow, Candice looks great! (You look great, Candice!) And, she looks a lot like someone else I know in that first picture. Y'all must be related!

Praying for those girls!

Yes, I love double-posting comments. Not sure why I do that, but it's something that I'm good at, so I'll just go with it.

Night!
