Happy

Stephen's parents are visiting for the weekend, and we are all happy.

Even Jack, who is best as his goofy, laughing, squealing, chattering self.

The funniest part about today centered around Baylor and his pretend piece of "cake." His "cake" is a plastic toy from McDonald's, specifically a figure from the movie Night at the Museum featuring a small Ben Stiller being enveloped by a large squid. That's right, folks. My child ran around offering all of us pieces of "cake" (squid) on a pretend "cake server" (plastic shovel.)

Does anyone else think it's time for pretend food?

(Forgive the poor picture quality, but my children tend to move a lot. I'm hoping they outgrow this.)

And just because I can't stop admiring/sitting in it, here's another shot of my new favorite piece of furniture:

Ahhhh. It's so comfortable, I assure you. You see, I'm sitting in it right now.

Finally, do you remember my teaser picture from this post a few days ago? Well, I'll offer you one more teaser before doing the big reveal. I had some really great guesses, and this shot probably doesn't leave too many more questions as to the nature of my project.

It's a little blurry, but I think that adds to the general mystique, don't you?

I hope you've had a fantastic weekend! Tomorrow is the Sabbath, and we can't wait to wrangle kids at church.

Amen.

I can't believe no one has commented on that wicked hot chair! Awesome!

Also, 10 points to Ryan for spotting the Oliver cameo 'appearance' through Jack's shirt. Looks good on him!
