Today I'm being featured in a blog directory for the February '09 issue of Serious.Life, an online publication. This is a free magazine that features stories on spiritual life, adoption, family, personal finances, and lots of other things. The editors also give away ads to charities and other ministries. It's a magazine that's worth checking out*, and I encourage you to go to the directory in particular if this blog thing has you at all curious and you're interested in some other fare.But don't stop coming here! *I should mention that Stephen and I do not necessarily endorse all the content in this magazine. The Science and Faith section of the last issue left us feeling particularly squirmy. Steve's a university astronomy professor and planetarium director with a masters in physics, remember? We tend to be a little critical. Still, I think there are some great, inspirational articles, and we both agree that it has a pretty cool layout. Whatever our opinion is worth, there you have it.

I personally would need to clarify that my feelings were beyond "particularly squirmy". I didn't see a "Science and Faith" section in this last issue, but in the issue I did review (December 2008) I would charitibly refer to its contents as nonsense. And the worst kind of nonsense too-- that particular kind which makes Christians look very, very foolish. And which makes me very, very embarrassed.
